welcome KingsCountyFC I'm the one who did the posting around the St Pauli groups  Great to have you aboard I checked the borough boys, looks pretty interesting, as a Mets fan myself that proposition outlined in there would be pretty class (so long as they aren't supported by cunts like TFC is haha) What are the chances of that happening soon do ya know?

Thanks guys,
our chances are good.
For the MLS isn't not "if" we get a team, it's "when."
The soonest would be 3 years from now.
We've had meetings with Fred Wilpon (mets owner) and
he's commited to bringing a team to MLS, but has stated that
he only wants to do it if he can bring a world class stadium to NYC.
Now that Willets' Point problems have been cleared up, we feel as soon
as his stadium plans are concrete, Wilpon will put his bid in for the next round
of expansion.
Until then, we've started a Non-for Profit organization (Five Borough Soccer Assoc.)
That is dedicated to supporting soccer on all levels, and generating interest in soccer as
a spectator sport here in the City.
In addtion to the St.Pauli supporters club,
we have a USMNT group as well as supporting the local PDL team , the Brooklyn Knights.
