Appiah said it is his dream to go to England with Arsenal and Portsmouth after him. We should of bought him in January.
Other players we can get who are free agents: (from Skysports)
Former Republic of Ireland international
Steve Carr is hoping to be find a new club after failing to win a move during the transfer window.
Carr was released by Newcastle at the end of last season after the club decided not to renew his contract.
A number of clubs were credited with an interest in the full-back, but the 32-year-old still finds himself looking for pastures new.
(Carr does play RB most of the time, but he has also played LB occasionally and CB rarely)
Ian Harte, like his former Republic of Ireland team-mate Carr, is also hunting for a new club.
The former Leeds man was released by Sunderland earlier this summer after failing to establish himself in Roy Keane's plans
Harte won himself a trial at Wolves and although he was offered a deal at Molinuex, the player turned down the chance to join the ambitious Championship side.
(LB who is a deadly free kick specialist with his left foot also)
Quinton Fortune is looking to get his career back on track after seeing his last few years blighted by injury.
Portsmouth and Ipswich were believed to be interested in the former Manchester United man this summer, but no move materialised.
Fortune's versatility, in that he can play in midfield and defence, make him an attractive option for any possible suitors.
(He can play LM or LB)
