The boys in Brown and White got their season underway with a 2-2 draw with VfL Osnabruck. Florian Bruns scored two goals in the first 8 minutes for St Pauli, including a penalty in the 5th minute, but Osnabruck came back with a goal in the 39th minute and then again in the 68th minute. Marc Gouiffe à Goufan of St Pauli also put the boys in brown down a man for the 49th minute when he was sent off with a straight red card. The only team in Hamburg take on SpVgg Greuther Fürth who lost their first match next friday August 22nd.

Our St Pauli dropped this weeks game 4-1 on the road to table toppers Kaiserslautern.  Slipped down to 12th in the table with 4 points out of as many games. This week they take on a 1860 Munich team off to a lukewarm start at home.
