Celtic striker Derek Riordan could return to former club Hibernian, if the Edinburgh are willing to pay £250,000. Hibs want the player on loan but Celtic are not interested in a temporary transfer. (Daily Record)
However, Hibs' Edinburgh rivals Hearts are also keen to sign Riordan, with the player believed to be interested in a move to Tynecastle. (The Sun)
A bit more money we could get, and he might not even join Hibs now.

he'd hurt us less at hearts because he doesn't have a good supporting cast there. at hibs he would be a lot more dangerous
he'll definitely have a point to prove any time he plays us. i was really hoping he would just go down south
