in the past celtic took pride in trying its best to help the irish and catholics in scotland from the bigotry and hatred of them.

but recently we ignore it:

our own coach is attacked..what do we do? do we come out and say anything other than the basic statement any club would make? do we complain to sfa? uefa? nope.

the "go on home the famine is over" have we complained to the sfa about it? nope. uefa? no. fifa? no. say no to racism? no. In the past celtic would have done its best to end this shit and instead it continues.

the abuse we get in the papers.. why are we not threatening lawsuits? why do we allow our players and coaches to get harrassed in public without any threats of lawsuits?

Why have we not come out and try to end the jock stein slur? why ignore it. why not press the issue that they (the huns) are glorifying pedophilia to suit their own twisted mind?

Why do we let the huns come in our stadium and destroy the entire section. sing songs saying we arent welcome in scotland. singing billy boy (they sung it this weekend)

they are too concerned of being politically correct instead of protecting our own fanbase.

cause John Reid is a fuckin politician.....Dermot Desmond is a business man (Peter Lawell his right hand man)...and Strachan is a spineless comedian.....

we've lost the passion both in the board and the field. we need a change. Make Billy McNeill the president of the board!!!!! Danny McGrain or Lenny manager!!!!....and someone just rob Dermot Desmond bank account(s) so he can no longer have say in our club's finances!

any other ideas people?!? we need to stage a coup de tait ....or however the hell it's spelled

They did release a couple statements on the "BJK" shit and said they "worked with the SFA who contacted the Huns". I don't really hear it much but that's because they sign the famine is over shit. To be fair, they at least pretended to respond to the BJK stuff, but I don't think we'll hear anything about this. They've been trying to distance themselves from the Irish connection for the most part. The sad part is the SFA and co. are ignoring it. Hunitude to the highest order :wank:

it will get done if the world is shown the bigotry in scotland against catholics.

if something was really done about it. global corporations wouldnt put branches in scotland and as such freak out every scottish politician come election time.

its an interesting topic. I think celtic is trying to seriously take the politics out of the game. the historical political rivalry between us and the huns has diminished over the past few decades i would say. it seems that Celtic believes that the irish population no longer needs a sanctuary or haven, that they can fend for themselves at the moment. although celtic will never be able to sever their rivalry with rangers (it makes them too much money) they can slowly break down the political and social disputes we've historically had. not only does this take an element out of their operation that they've traditionally catered to but it makes them more money in terms of celtic as a global brand. it helps draw in more money from support that may not necessarily agree with our traditional cultural, political and social attitudes. it's all about money.

so, :IrishHarpFlag: :tiocfaidharla :IrishHarpFlag:, while we still can.

This is the outcome when a club is trying and becoming a global name. They loose their roots because the people upstairs have forgotten the ways. Celtic and Barca are two clubs that come to mind. And I haven't seen a team yet that manages both the political and business side effectively. The top guys have one thing on their minds, but the former players who cared, and the fans will never lose their way.
