If robson was a regular he'd get it in my book. he should be a regular the only thing keeping him out is strachan's incompetence or arrogant "I always have to be right attitude."

Robson shows passion, Robson always goes for the tough gritty tackle. remember at Celtic Park the VoH winner.. First minute of play Robson hits I think Davis with a high elbow knocking him down. That was what a captain should do. Set a tone for the match.

Now our captain got a yellow too in the first 10 minutes. He made a stupid foul and got mad and through the ball like a little kid.

Which yellow do you think helps the team? Which one sounds like a captain?

If Strachan woke up from this tomorrow and sent mcmanus and brown to the bench. Id have not a big problem with Strachan really. But he wont because he always has to show us the support that hes the manager and we are just fans.

I'm fairly certain he was a Partick Thistle supporter growing up...

I'm in two minds about it really, yeah he has a tendency to play shite and isn't your prototypical leader, but on the other hand, there isn't really a Lenny-type team organizer on this current side. Well, he's with the coaching staff now, but there's no unofficial leader out there.

JVoH I might have considered for this task, but he's too much of a hot-head and doesn't always lead by example (see today).

It's high time that Mick stepped up his game and showed some cojones though, his ability to lead the team through tough times has gone begging early on

mcmanus is more honored playing for scotland than playing for celtic--which shows you his mentality--all of us and most ghirls and bhoys in our heart is celtic first-country last

This here says Mick was a Partick fan growing up: http://www.bookrags.com/wiki/Stephen_McManus

Nothing that I'd actually hold against him, but still something to look at, I suppose
