I got the new home shirt. It is excellent. It's a bit more casually cut than last year's, so it's more comfortable to wear around. I wasn't a fan of the all-brown at first (Hamburg ist braun-weiss, not all brown!) but it has grown on me and it looks sharp and simple. I wore it out this morning and nobody seems to recognize it, as usual. Sometimes I'll catch a football fan waiting in line at the deli or something and they'll look at the shirt and then squint at the badge or sponsor with some puzzled look before asking me what club I was representing. I must be one of a handful of people in the state, probably the eastern-seaboard, who owns and wears FC St. Pauli jerseys.

I was just saying that I liked how the St Pauli away kit looked like and that St Pauli gear is not found easily (or at all) in the US.

Second of all, many St Pauli supporters and Celtic supporters share a bond because of the politics. Not all of either support share leftist views though and to say so would be a gross overgeneralization.
