Celtic today were drawn into Group E of the Champions League.
We will play European and English Champions Manchester United. Spanish powerhouses Villareal and Danish side Aalaborg BK.

i think 11 can get us 2nd
that means from our home games, weve proven we can do manu, villareal that could still be tough, maybe a draw, so being cautious id say 7 from home
need to win in denmark to break the duck, so just sneaking a point in engerland or spain would give us 11, our magic number!!!!
definitely do-able

will be hard getting 9 points--villareal will be just as good as barca at celtic park last febuary--and manchester united are champs of europe

im happy with this group. would have preferred someone other then the mancs because weve played them before recently. could have been a much tougher group. i can villarreal struggling more this year with la liga clubs gunning for them after them overachieving last season. we could have been in a group with barca, bayern, and atletico lol

We'll probably have to rely heavily on our home form again, as well as not underestimate the unknown quality that is Aalborg AK.
If we can manage to win all three home matches, we'll probably be through again; but that'll be one hell of a challenge... never mind winning away!

Win at home and win at Denmark. Both of these are definitely doable. And dont count us out on beating Villa at their place. First time in a few years then. I was just putting out there that most of the players on VCF have not played in the CL. Though guys like Nihat have and are very dangerous.
