2 year extension at 28,000? Surely this must be a wind up...Does he realize that he doesn't play and we don't want him!?!?! I thought Strachan came out in the press saying that we wanted to get rid of him and Gravensen?

kind of ridiculous how much shit hes getting for wanting to stay. he signed a contract. if we didnt want him here that long we shouldnt have given him a contract til 2009.

He said he wants to sign for another two years, that doesn't mean it will be an extension. He could sign a contract and take a wage-cut.
Emk is right, we shouldn't sign players for long-term if we're not going to use them. Bobo doesn't have to go anywhere if he doesn't want to.

Eh, it's News of the World, wouldn't get too caught up with the content of the article. Even if it's true, I think the club will let him walk by the end of the season anyway. No sense signing him to a contract extension if he is to play no role with the team. apparently they had agreed to let him go but balde refused to sign a confidentiality agreement.. so they ended the negotiations.
why would he need a confidentiality agreement? unless something is fishy up at celtic park among the board which I suspect. Cant wait till hes out of contract so he can reveal it. I have a feeling we are heading to the kellys management style soon. Peter Liewell can gtf with the war criminal.
